I know you’re not supposed to share your vote or whatever, but my ballot’s already sent off and to be honest, I don’t give a fuck.
I VOTED NO.
I voted no to hate. I voted no to discrimination. I voted no so that someday we can have marriage equality in the state of Minnesota (though I obviously hope for it on a national level as well).
I voted no because I am straight, and that means that I will never have the validity of my relationships questioned. I voted no because I will never have to defend my right to marry the person I love, and I don’t think that anyone should have to.
